Third-party licenses
Plain-language draft, pending lawyer review.Takes effect on the date shown once reviewed.
CLUM is built on open-source software. Each part keeps its own license, and the full license texts ship with CLUM (in the *.dist-info and fonts folders) or come with the downloaded part. CLUM does not modify any of them.

Source code offer for SearXNG (AGPL-3.0)
CLUM runs SearXNG unmodified, as a separate service on your own PC; CLUM only supplies its settings file. The complete source code is available at github.com/searxng/searxng. CLUM 1.0 installs version the current SearXNG release at the time you install it (the exact commit is recorded on your PC in a file named searxng.commit). On request, for at least three years after we last ship that version, we will send you the exact source code of the SearXNG version CLUM installs, together with CLUM's SearXNG settings file, at no charge beyond the cost of delivery. Write to [email protected].

AI models
CLUM does not include AI models. They download to your PC from Hugging Face when you choose them, and each keeps its own license; CLUM shows the license next to each model in Settings › Agents. Downloading and using a model means accepting its license and any usage rules that come with it.
Uncensored ("abliterated") versions. CLUM Work and CLUM Web use uncensored models by default, and most models CLUM offers are versions changed by third parties (for example huihui-ai) so that they refuse fewer requests, and converted to the GGUF format by others (for example mradermacher or unsloth). Such a version stays under the license of the original model. Where the original comes with usage rules (for example Meta's Acceptable Use Policy for Llama models), those rules still apply in full: removing refusals does not remove the rules. You are responsible for following them.
Models CLUM picks by default
| Model | Role | Source | License |
|---|---|---|---|
| Qwen3.5 35B-A3B (uncensored) | CLUM Work, on PCs with a graphics card of 6 GB or more and at least 36 GB of graphics memory and system memory together | mradermacher/Huihui-Qwen3.5-35B-A3B-abliterated-GGUF | Apache-2.0 |
| Qwen3.5 9B (uncensored) | CLUM Web on PCs with a graphics card of 6 GB or more; also CLUM Work if the 35B model doesn't fit | mradermacher/Huihui-Qwen3.5-9B-abliterated-GGUF | Apache-2.0 |
| Qwen3.5 4B (uncensored) | CLUM Work and CLUM Web on PCs without such a graphics card and with 16 GB of memory or more | mradermacher/Huihui-Qwen3.5-4B-abliterated-GGUF | Apache-2.0 |
| Qwen3.5 2B (uncensored) | CLUM Work and CLUM Web on smaller PCs | mradermacher/Huihui-Qwen3.5-2B-abliterated-GGUF | Apache-2.0 |

CLUM's first-start guide suggests these based on your PC; you can change them at any time in Settings › Agents.

Pictures CLUM Web finds keep their own license. CLUM shows the source and license of every picture before you accept it, and credits it in documents.
